Nawid Sayed

Nawid Sayed has worked in two companies, Truthset and Kaggle. In Truthset, they were a Senior ML Engineer and Data Scientist from 2019. In Kaggle, they achieved 3rd place out of 8800 in the Santander Customer Transaction Prediction Competition in 2019, where they solved a classification problem with LightGBM boosted trees and keras CNNs. Nawid also achieved 6th place out of 2000 in the Petfinder.my Adoption Prediction Competition in 2019, where they solved a regression problem with NLP, CNNs and decision trees.

Nawid Sayed completed a Bachelor of Science in Physics from Technische Universität Darmstadt between 2011 and 2015. Nawid then went on to earn a Master of Science in Physics from Heidelberg University between 2015 and 2018.
