Hugh Batley

Hugh Batley is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in business management and consultancy across various industries. As Co-Founder of TruTrip since April 2019, Hugh focuses on developing an accessible travel management solution for businesses in South East Asia. In addition, Hugh serves as a Partner at H J Batley & Co, engaging in early-stage investments and consultancy for promising projects. Previously, as Managing Partner at Lion&Lion from November 2013 to February 2018, Hugh played a pivotal role in transforming the company and expanding its reach across eight markets in South East Asia, serving high-profile clients such as IKEA and Coca-Cola. Earlier experience includes consultancy at McKinsey & Company and business improvement roles at BAE Systems. Hugh holds a BEng in Mechanical Engineering with Management from The University of Edinburgh, complemented by study at UC Santa Barbara.
