Dillon Morse

Dillon Morse has a diverse work experience in the field of data science.

- Dillon is currently working as a Data Scientist at TruU, Inc. from April 2021 onwards.

- Prior to that, they were a Data Science Fellow at Insight Data Science from September 2020 to November 2020. During this role, they developed a web app deployed on AWS EC2 to convert real estate listing photos into room maps, improving the accuracy of property representation. Dillon also created a data processing pipeline with two convolutional neural networks to extract depth information and perform segmentation on images, enabling the visualization of room depth.

- Dillon also has experience as an Assistant Professor at St. Andrews University, where their role started in August 2019 and ended in June 2020.

Dillon Morse has a strong educational background in the field of science and mathematics. Dillon completed their Bachelor of Science in Physics and Mathematics from Utah State University in the period 2006-2010. Pursuing their interest further, they obtained a Master of Science degree in Mathematics from the same university during 2010-2012. Deciding to enhance their knowledge even more, Dillon pursued a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Physics at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill from 2012 to 2019.
