Lev Zaplatin

Lev Zaplatin has a long and varied work experience. From 2010 to 2014 they worked as a Web Developer at Collegium of Advocates. Karpov & Utochkin and a Software Developer at Dental Clinic NeoMed. From 2012 to 2014 they worked as a Software Developer at Smextenej. From 2014 to 2016 they were a Lead Software Engineer at Creative Agency Vinegar, where they modernized and optimized the advertising platform, managed the development team, and developed new software services and projects for helping their clients use advertising services and get more detailed reports. From 2016 to 2017 they were a Lead Software Engineer at 220 Volt, where they worked to ensure the high quality and high performance of the leading project DIY e-shop, managed the development team with more than 10 developers, and managed the software development of the media server in order to optimize the main project. From 2017 to 2020 they were a Senior Software Engineer and Mentor at CTM, where they created all infrastructure components for developing, testing, storing, and releasing projects from scratch to production-ready, trained colleagues on new technologies and methodologies, and refactored the whole main project code from Perl to Python. From 2020 to 2022 they worked as a Lead Software Engineer at NLMK Group, where they designed and developed software for steel production quality and created a Python internal software community with more than 100 developers, providing presentations and workshops. Currently, they are a Senior Software Engineer at Truv.

Lev Zaplatin attended Moscow State Institute of Radio Engineering, Electronics and Automation (Technical University) from 2008 to 2011, where they studied Computer and Information Systems Security/Information Assurance without obtaining a degree.
