Peter Wright

Peter Wright has extensive experience in retail and buying management, currently serving as the Senior Divisional Buying Manager at Truworths since March 2009. In this role, Peter oversees a team of 14 across three departments, focusing on merchandise assortment and supplier relationships to meet sales targets. Previous positions at Truworths include Senior Buying Manager, Divisional Buying Manager, and various roles as a buyer, showcasing a robust progression in responsibility and expertise. Peter's earlier career includes teaching and sports administration at Edgemead High School. Peter holds an Honours Bachelor of Commerce in Marketing Management from Stellenbosch University and a Bachelor of Commerce in Management Sciences from the University of Stellenbosch, as well as a degree in fashion design from Cape Peninsula University of Technology.
