Shishir Joshi

Shishir Joshi has a diverse work experience in various roles related to data science and software engineering. Shishir is currently working at Wingman by Clari as a Data Scientist II and also holds the position of Machine Learning Engineer. Prior to this, Shishir worked at GlobalFoundries as a Data Scientist. Their responsibilities included researching and delivering projects in multiple NLP domains using deep learning techniques. Shishir also deployed production-ready ML models in the cloud. Before that, they worked at Jash Data Sciences as a Data Scientist, where they focused on developing projects in NLP using both deep learning and traditional ML techniques. Shishir's earlier experience includes working as a Software Engineer at Larsen and Toubro Infotech, Pune. In this role, they developed and extended the functionality of the 'BRAINS' core banking platform, implemented source code management functionality, and fixed configuration errors to improve user experience for multiple users.

Shishir Joshi completed their Bachelor of Engineering degree in Electrical, Electronics, and Communications Engineering from Pune Institute of Computer Technology, spanning from 2015 to 2018. In addition to their formal education, they also obtained several certifications. These include "Neural Networks and Deep Learning" from Coursera, achieved in November 2019, "Production Machine Learning Systems" from Coursera, obtained in June 2019, and "End-to-End Machine Learning with TensorFlow on GCP," also from Coursera, attained in May 2019. Furthermore, they acquired a certification in "Statistics for data science" from Pune Institute of Computer Technology in February 2018.
