Sam Gurdus

Sam Gurdus has a diverse work experience spanning over several years.

In 2008, Sam started working as an Account Coordinator at CBS Interactive, where they stayed until 2009 when they transitioned into the role of an Account Executive within the same company.

Following their time at CBS Interactive, Sam joined AdRoll.com in 2010 as the Global Director of Client Services, where they led the global client services organization, focused on SMB customers. In this role, Sam was responsible for scaling proactive and reactive client engagement and providing solutions to over 20,000 customers.

Sam then moved on to Segment.com in 2016 as the Head of Account Management & Customer Success. Here, Sam played a crucial role in helping clients fully analyze and act on their customers' needs through Segment's customer data hub.

In 2018, Sam became the Head of Customer Success & Operations at Thesis, where they built an infrastructure and team focused on delivering customer satisfaction and product adoption for payments and privacy projects.

Next, Sam joined Sauce Labs in 2019 as the Senior Director of Customer Success, overseeing customer success activities until 2020.

From 2020 until the present, Sam has been serving as the Senior Director of Customer Success at Mezmo. Sam played a key role in transforming the observability platform, formerly known as LogDNA, into a tool that enhances productivity for engineering teams at startups and Fortune 500 companies alike.

Sam's most recent role is the VP of Success at Finch, starting in 2023. Here, they are working to democratize access to employment infrastructure and drive innovation and economic activities for employers and employees.

From 2004 to 2008, Sam Gurdus attended Union College, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts degree. During their time at the college, Sam studied Economics and English.
