Torunn Stangeland

Torunn Stangeland is a legal professional with extensive experience in various roles within law and governance. Stangeland served as a Board Member at Bergen Group ASA from July 2011 to July 2013 and held multiple positions at Thommessen, including Trainee, Advokatfullmektig, and Fast Advokat from August 2008 to January 2011. Stangeland's experience also includes being General Manager at AS Flyfisk from January 2011 to August 2013, working as Seniorrådgiver at the Norwegian Competition Authority from August 2018 to August 2020, and serving as Dommerfullmektig at Norges domstoler from August 2016 to August 2018. As of May 2025, Stangeland is the Head of Group Legal & Quality NO at Tryg, having previously held the position of Senioradvokat and acting leader in the same department. Stangeland earned a Master's degree in Law from the University of Bergen in 2008.
