Carla Thomassen has a diverse work experience in finance and management roles. Carla started their career in 2013 as an Interim financieel manager at Fontys Hogescholen and worked there until 2014. In 2015, they had roles as an Interim Finance Professional at Lockheed Martin Commercial Flight Training and as a Senior Contractor at EY. In 2016, they worked as a Manager Assurance - Temporary Client Serving Professional at Grant Thornton Netherlands and as a Senior Contractor at EY. From 2017 to 2018, they served as an Interim controller - Bestuursstaf Concerncontrol at Fontys Hogescholen. In 2018, they joined Trymax Semiconductor as an Interim controller and later became the CFO in 2020. Throughout their career, Carla Thomassen also owned their own company, Carla Thomassen, starting in 2009.
Carla Thomassen has a diverse education history. Carla obtained a degree in Accountancy from the University of Amsterdam, where they studied from 1993 to 1997. Prior to that, they attended Windesheim from 1991 to 1992 and earned a bachelor's degree in Accountancy. Their education journey started at HAN University of Applied Sciences, where they pursued a bachelor's degree in Business Economics from 1987 to 1991. Carla completed their secondary education at Elzendaal College Boxmeer, earning a VWO diploma from 1982 to 1987. Additionally, Carla has obtained certifications in "Leiderschap in verandering" and "Netwerken" from ISA GROUP in 2023.
