Melissa Rooney

Melissa Rooney's work experience includes various human resources roles in different companies. Melissa currently works at Caliper Holdings and Ripple as a People Manager. At Caliper Holdings, they started in February 2022 and their previous role was an HR Generalist from April 2021 to January 2022. At Ripple, they also started in February 2022 as a People Manager, and their previous role was an HR Generalist from April 2021 to January 2022. Before that, they worked for Gana-A'Yoo Services Corporation from April 2018 to April 2021 as an HR Generalist. Prior to that, they worked for PAE, Antarctic Support Contract from June 2014 to April 2018 in various roles including Human Resources Coordinator, Senior Recruiting Coordinator, and Recruiting Coordinator. Melissa also worked as a Human Resources Specialist at Wells Fargo Home Mortgage from May 2013 to May 2014 and as a Membership and Outreach Intern at the U.S. Green Building Council from December 2012 to March 2013.

Melissa Rooney has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Interdepartmental Studies with a specialization in Entrepreneurial Management from the University of Iowa, which they obtained from 2009 to 2012. During their time at University of Iowa, Melissa also completed a Bachelor of Business Administration program in Business Administration at the University of Canterbury in 2010. In terms of additional certifications, Melissa obtained a Certificate in Entrepreneurial Management in May 2012. Melissa also holds certifications such as a Green Belt from the Lean Six Sigma Institute LLC, obtained in June 2018, a Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM) from the Project Management Institute, obtained in September 2019, and a Professional in Human Resources (PHR) certification from HRCI, obtained in December 2020. Additionally, Melissa has completed the People Analytics Masterclass Series offered by Orgnostic in November 2022.
