Andy Freiheit is an experienced executive with a background in operations and engineering. Currently serving as the Chief Operating Officer and General Manager at Trystar, Andy previously held the role of VP of Operations and Engineering at Salient from May 2023 to August 2023 before the company was sold to Trystar. Andy's career includes significant roles at Marathon Petroleum Company and Johnson & Johnson, as well as positions at Alcoa, Arconic, and Strategy&, where responsibilities spanned reliability engineering and enterprise strategy. Andy holds an MBA and a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, along with a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from The Ohio State University.
