Alex Venetidis

Alex Venetidis is currently the Head of Product Engineering at Terra API since July 2021, following a brief role as Technical Lead at EmoteWell. Alex's previous experiences include participation in the Tsinghua Global Summer School, where a team achieved first prize in a hackathon, and an internship at Amadeus focused on developing an anomaly detection system. Alex also served as a Research Intern at the University of Toronto, leading a project on predictive machine learning for network transitions. Notable achievements include winning first prize at ICHack 2019 with an instant supermarket checkout system and success in the AWS Educate challenge at Oxford Hack 2018 for classroom sentiment analysis. Alex holds an MBA from The Wharton School and an MEng in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Imperial College London.
