Michael Vander Velde

Michael Vander Velde is a corporate learning specialist currently serving as the Vice President and Director of Learning and Development at Blue Ridge Associates since 2025. Previously, they held roles as a Learning Leader at Lincoln Financial Group and as the Director of Learning and Development at First Bank. Their extensive experience also includes positions such as Senior Learning Technologist at the Federal Reserve Bank of St. Louis and Vice President of Corporate Training at Fleishman Hillard. Additionally, they began their career as a Teacher at St. Louis Charter School and had a brief stint as an actor in national television commercials. Michael is pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Education at Southern Illinois University.
