Dr. Daniel Heger

Dr. Daniel Heger has a diverse work experience. From 2022 to present, they have been a Senior Scientist at FreshIndex by tsenso. From 2018 to 2022, they were a Senior Data Scientist at codemanufaktur GmbH, where they were responsible for data science, software development and project management, including visualization of big data and time series forecast, predictions on small data sets, and complete data pipelines. From 2013 to 2018, they were a Researcher and PhD Student at Technische Universität München, where they conducted research on oscillatory neural networks, designed a novel architecture for an oscillatory neural network, simulated and theoretically analyzed the network, and verified the results with analog electronics.

Dr. Daniel Heger completed their Doctor of Science (Dr. rer. nat.) in Physics from the Technical University of Munich in 2018, following their Diplom-Physiker (Comparable to a Master's degree) from the same institution in 2011. Dr. Daniel also holds certifications from Coursera in AI for Medical Diagnosis (2021), Neural Networks and Deep Learning (2018), and Game Theory (2013). Additionally, Heger obtained a First Aid certification from M-A-U-S Erste Hilfe in 2018.
