Daryl Thomas

Daryl Thomas has over 30 years of work experience, beginning in 1991 as a Chartered Accountant (ACA) at Price Waterhouse Coopers. In 1995, they joined AstraZeneca as a Finance Manager. In 2001, they joined Syngenta, where they held several positions, including Global Head (Managing Director, President) of Sugar Beet Seeds, Global Head (Managing Director, President) of Home Care Products and Materials Protection, and Global Head (Director) of Strategic Planning and Integration. In 2011, they were promoted to Global Head (Managing Director, President) of Commercial Excellence and Commercial Processes. In 2015, they moved to Plant Impact as Senior Director Global Marketing and Business Development. In 2018, they joined Science Group as Managing Director: TSG Consulting Europe and Leatherhead Food Research. Daryl then moved to TSG Consulting as Managing Director Europe. In 2020, they joined Leatherhead Food Research as Managing Director.

Daryl Thomas began their educational journey in 1983 when they attended Leek High School. Daryl then went on to Bangor University from 1988 to 1991, where they earned a Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Mathematics. In 1991, Thomas began their professional qualification at ICAEW, which they completed in 1994. In the same year, they obtained their Fellow of The Institute of Chartered Accountants in England & Wales (FCA) certification from the Association of Chartered Accountants in England & Wales.
