Allen LeVan

DevOps Engineering Manager & Tech Lead at TSM

Allen LeVan has a diverse work experience, starting with their role as a System Administrator Volunteer at Arizona Public Service (APS) from 2002 to 2004. Allen then worked as a Computer Support Technician 3 at The Atlantic Group from 2001 to 2005, where they implemented various projects and increased the Service Level Agreement percentage. From 2005 to 2008, Allen worked as an IS Tech Support at Shamrock Foods, supporting end users and infrastructure. During this time, they received a Certificate of Appreciation for outstanding performance and commitment to teamwork.

Following this, Allen joined Pegasus Solutions in 2008 as an Office Automation Engineer, supporting the data center and working on imaging and software distribution. Allen then moved to Hewlett-Packard in 2010 as an IT Technical Consultant 2, providing support to clients worldwide and working in the site support services department.

From 2014 to 2016, Allen worked as a Product Support Engineer at Red Gate Software, where they supported SQL Database tools and .NET tools. Allen then became a Consultant / Student from 2016 to 2017, working on projects as a consultant and completing classes in Android, Java, software testing, and machine learning through Udacity and Georgia Tech Computer Science Masters program.

Allen joined SnackNation in 2017 as an Infrastructure Engineer, where they were solely responsible for DevOps, IT management, administration, and support of the Engineering Team, including cloud infrastructure, network, onsite infrastructure, and IT and data security. Finally, Allen currently serves as the Senior Engineering Manager for DevOps & Backend at TSM since April 2019.

Allen LeVan completed a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Game Programming from the University of Advancing Technology from 2010 to 2013. Following this, they pursued Computer Science studies at Arizona State University from 2006 to 2009. In 2016-2017, Allen attended the Georgia Institute of Technology, although the degree obtained is not specified. Additionally, Allen holds certifications in A+ and Network+ from CompTIA, as well as MCP Implementing and Administering Security in a Microsoft Windows 2000 Network, MCSA Windows 2000, and MCSE Windows 2000 from Microsoft.
