BJ Woo

BJ Woo is currently the VP Office of Strategic Customer Program at TSMC. Prior to this, they were the Assistant Director at SMIC from May 2019 to September 2021. They have also worked as the Senior Account Manager at MagnaChip Semiconductor from January 2018 to April 2019 and as the Senior Sales Account Manager at United Microelectronics Corporation (UMC) from November 2013 to December 2017. BJ Woo has also worked as the Senior Manager, Field Engineering at GLOBALFOUNDRIES from December 2009 to October 2013 where they were the technical interface between customers and various teams within the company. They have also been responsible for collaborating with Marketing to present and promote technology and product offerings to customers as well as conferring with customers to assess customer requirements. BJ Woo is also proficient in using Salesforce.com and Siebel CRM systems. During their time at GLOBALFOUNDRIES, they grew an account from incubation to close to $100M in 2010 and supported over 30 customers in various market applications. They were also the technical lead for GLOBALFOUNDRIES’ Channel Partners and ASIC product tapeouts.

BJ Woo holds a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from National University of Singapore.

They are on a team with Geoffrey Yeap - VP, Research & Development, Platform Development, Min Cao - VP R&D Pathfinding, and Doug Yu - Vice President, Research & Development / Integrated Interconnect Packaging. BJ Woo reports to C. C. Wei, Vice Chairman & CEO.
