Joy Cheng is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in materials science and engineering. Currently serving as a Department Manager at TSMC since 2015, Joy has developed significant leadership skills. Prior to TSMC, Joy worked at IBM as a Research Staff Member from 2006 to 2015 and held a postdoctoral position at MIT from June 2003 to November 2005. Joy earned a Ph.D. in Materials Science and Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, where studies were completed from 1998 to 2003, and holds a Bachelor's degree in Chemistry from National Taiwan University, obtained from 1992 to 1996.
