Mark van dal

Mark van Dal is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in the semiconductor industry, currently serving as Deputy Director at TSMC since August 2009, with prior roles including Senior Manager and Technical Manager at TSMC R&D in Leuven, Belgium. In addition to TSMC, Mark has been the onsite manager at imec since 2019 and contributed as a subcommittee member for the IEDM Conference from January 2011 to December 2012. Prior to TSMC, Mark was a Senior Scientist at NXP Semiconductors, where responsibilities included FinFET integration for the 22nm node and beyond. Mark also served as a Senior Scientist at Philips Research, specializing in materials and silicidation processes, and completed a PhD focused on solid state diffusion at Eindhoven University of Technology, where a Master's degree in Chemical Engineering was also obtained.
