Ray Chuang

Ray Chuang is currently the Vice President of Operations-1 and Chief Executive Officer of the European Semiconductor Manufacturing Company (ESMC) at TSMC, a position held since May 2023. With a tenure at TSMC starting in December 1997, Ray has held notable roles including Senior Fab Director for Fab-18A, focusing on 4nm/5nm high-volume manufacturing, and Fab Director for Fab-12B (RD_Mother Fab). Prior experience includes serving as a Senior Process Engineer at various North American semiconductor companies from 1989 to 1995. Ray Chuang's educational background includes degrees from Stanford University and National Tsing Hua University.
