Sean Ma is a TSMC Executive currently serving as Deputy Director in Hsinchu City, Taiwan, focusing on R&D TCAD. Previously, they held the position of DTCO R&D Engineer at Intel Corporation from 2019 to 2022, where they led the development of design technology co-optimization evaluations for future scaling options in the Logic roadmap and explored emerging DTCO approaches. Sean is also currently a Principal Engineer at Intel Foundry Services, responsible for technology modeling efforts. They earned a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from the University of Arizona in 2004.
