Stefan Rusu is a seasoned engineering professional with extensive experience in semiconductor technology and design. Currently serving on the Board of Directors at Universal Chiplet Interconnect Express (UCIe) since June 2022, Rusu has held the position of Senior Director at TSMC since July 2015. Prior to TSMC, Rusu accumulated nearly two decades of experience at Intel as a Senior Principal Engineer, leading multiple teams focused on technology and special circuits for server processors, with significant contributions to various Xeon and Itanium architectures. Earlier career roles include Engineering Manager at Philips Semiconductor and Senior Design Engineer at Sun Microsystems, where Rusu played vital roles in projects related to interactive TV technology and SPARC processors, respectively. Rusu started at Intel as a Design Engineer in 1984, contributing to Ethernet controller projects. Rusu holds a Master's Degree in Electrical Engineering from Polytechnic University in Bucharest, Romania.
