Luis Tovar

Luis Tovar has extensive work experience in the field of software testing and quality assurance. Luis is currently working as the Head of Business Unit Built In Quality at Tsoft since March 2023. Prior to this, they worked at Tsoft as a QA Architect from January 2020 to February 2023.

Before joining Tsoft, Luis worked at BSD Enterprise as a Software Test Manager & QA Consultant. Luis was responsible for administering quality assurance and software testing services for clients, including Banco Sabadell. Luis also provided high-level strategic consulting for software quality and implemented automation frameworks for functional testing. Additionally, they implemented and managed project and requirement management tools to improve project visibility in terms of time, effort, and quality. Luis worked at BSD Enterprise from January 2019 to December 2019.

Luis's previous experience also includes working at BSD Enterprise as a Software Test Manager & QA Consultant in the government sector from March 2015 to December 2018. Luis also served as a consultant for software testing onsite from May 2018 to November 2018 and again from July 2013 to February 2015.

Prior to joining BSD Enterprise, Luis worked at Telcel as a Coordinador de Pruebas System Test e Ingeniero de Pruebas Técnicas. In this role, they coordinated the system test team for system testing and project progress. Luis also coordinated development, database, and production support teams for production migrations. Luis worked at Telcel from January 2011 to June 2013.

Luis started their career at GNSOL CORP as an Ingeniero de Pruebas No Funcionales. Luis 'sresponsibilities at GNSOL CORP included implementing HP Software solutions on a national level and providing specialized consulting services to clients such as Scotiabank, Banamex, GNP Seguros, and Grupo Peñoles. Luis worked at GNSOL CORP from September 2007 to January 2011.

Luis Tovar earned a Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering from the Facultad de Ingeniería de la UNAM, where they studied from 1999 to 2004. Luis has also obtained several certifications, including the Certified SAFe® 5 DevOps Practitioner from Scaled Agile, Inc. in 2021, the Certified SAFe® 5 Agilist from Scaled Agile, Inc. in 2020, and the Professional Scrum Master I from Scrum.org in 2019. Additionally, they hold certifications such as the ISTQB CTFL Certified Tester Foundation Level from iSQI GmbH in 2018, and the Scrum Fundamentals Certified from SCRUMstudy in 2016.
