Founded by Dimitris Tsoukalas and Veta Stefanidou Tsoukalas, Tsoukalas Architects is an international - Athens-based - architectural practice with a longstanding reputation for creating timeless, meaningful spaces. With a vision rooted in clarity, proportion, and emotional resonance, the studio undertakes a broad range of projects—from private residences and boutique hotels to yachts and landmark public commissions—approaching each with the same intellectual rigor and aesthetic sensibility.

Tsoukalas Architects is defined by its ability to merge architectural integrity with a deep understanding of interior volumes, materials, and cultural context.
Whether designing a landmark public building, a contemporary city home or a mountain retreat, the studio places narrative at the heart of its work—drawing inspiration from the landscape, history, and human scale.

This ethos is beautifully captured in the acclaimed Assouline publication Living Next to Delphi, a monograph dedicated to five mountain houses designed by the duo in the sacred region surrounding Delphi. Each residence is a meditation on the region’s ancient spirit, blending architectural form and archaeological memory with contemporary craftsmanship and lived intimacy.

Today, Tsoukalas Architects continues to craft thoughtful, enduring environments—spaces that reflect a dialogue between past and present, function and poetry.
