Andy Liu is the co-founder and CEO of TsunESS Co., Ltd. They lead the development of micro-inverters, balcony solar systems, AC-coupled systems, and hybrid solutions. From 2015 to 2017, they served as Investment Dept. Director at 国开新能源科技有限公司 (CDB-Energy), overseeing investment and financing for PV projects in China and contributing to around 10 GW of PV projects. From 2019 to 2022, they were the CEO of Three Gorges Smart Energy Co., Ltd, part of the Three Gorges Group, evaluating and investing more than 2 GW of PV systems. Earlier roles include Shareholder and Sales GM at Omnik New Energy (2012–2015) and Sales Director at Zeversolar (2009–2011); they earned master's degrees in control engineering from Tongji University (2006–2009) and Friedrich-Alexander-Universität Erlangen-Nürnberg (FAU) (2007–2009).
