Sean Doherty has extensive experience in the golf course management sector, beginning as a seasonal greenskeeper at the City of Kent, Washington from 2004 to 2010. After completing internships at Fairwood Country Club and Eastward Ho! Country Club in 2012 and 2013 respectively, Sean served as Assistant Superintendent in Training at Chambers Bay Golf Course from 2013 to 2015. Sean then held the role of Assistant Golf Course Superintendent at Winged Foot Golf Club and Sahalee Country Club from 2015 to 2016 and 2016 to 2020, respectively. Following this, Sean worked at Sand Point Country Club as an Assistant Golf Course Superintendent from 2020 until July 2024. Currently, Sean occupies the position of Territory Manager at Turf Star Western. Sean holds a Bachelor of Science in Soil Sciences from Washington State University and a degree in Hospitality Administration/Management from Florida Atlantic University.
