Nathan Brown

Nathan Brown is an experienced urban planner currently serving as an Associate in the Planning Studio at TSW since January 2023. Previously, Nathan worked as an Urban Planner for the City of Atlanta from October 2016 to January 2023 and as a City Planner for the City of McDonough from August 2015 to October 2016, where responsibilities included evaluating applications for facade reviews and conducting research on zoning codes. Nathan earned a Master's degree in Historic Preservation from Georgia State University, where significant projects included developing a Historic Preservation Plan and working on National Register and Historic District nominations. Additional experience includes an internship at Gene Kansas Commercial Real Estate focused on historical research and grant writing and earlier roles as a Technical Sales Representative and Program Manager. Nathan holds a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from The University of Georgia.
