John Blackford

John Blackford is a seasoned operations leader with extensive experience in business development and manufacturing. Currently serving as General Manager at TT Electronics plc since November 2024, John previously held the role of VP/GM for Dynamic Glass and Smart Home Products at Cardinal Glass Industries from 2017 to 2024, where responsibilities included overseeing sales, manufacturing, and supply chain, as well as fostering a culture of operational excellence. Prior experience includes managing manufacturing operations at Medtronic as a Manager of Peripheral Vascular Manufacturing & Engineering from 2013 to 2017, and serving as a Nuclear Submarine Officer in the US Navy from 2003 to 2013, where John led a department responsible for the operation of advanced combat systems. John holds an MBA from the University of Minnesota's Carlson School of Management and dual master's degrees in Civil Engineering and Systems Engineering from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and the United States Naval Academy, respectively.
