TTK was born in 2011 after event safety advisor Linda Krawecke of Tiger Tea Safety noticed too many outdoor events with inadequate services for children or youth needing help and protection when parents weren't available. Thus "Tiger Tea Kids" or TTK was born to provide professional, managed  child/youth support. We soon realised that we couldn't draw the line at age 18 and began offering a full event welfare and safeguarding service to all ages. 

 Since then, TTK have supported a great many diverse festivals, events and clubs.  With a base of trained and DBS checked personnel we cover events throughout the year with clients ranging from greenfield site weekend music festivals to urban park based events and most recently, supporting event staff welfare and nightclub welfare. 

TTK has an ethos of non-judgemental understanding and sympathy. There is no right or wrong: we are there to help people in distress to feel safe and listened to no matter what their issue. 

Our team are trained in harm reduction, VAWG support, safeguarding children & youth when the responsible adult is not present. Our team offer assistance to those event attendees with a neurodiversion/sensory issue, those  with mental health issues or those needing accessibility support. 

We are there for those who have been abused due to their gender identity or sexual orientation, their race, their belief or their political persuasion. It the person is distressed and in need of support - we are there to help them.

Having been involved with the events industry since 1999, TTK's founder/business manager Linda understands how events are produced and operate. She is able to help create or review welfare/safeguarding policies and procedures and is able to advise. At some events, Linda has sat in Event Control taking the lead on issues involving safeguarding or welfare issues and assisting event management in making decisions.
