Bart van Esch

Bart van Esch is a Professor, Lecturer, Researcher, and Senior Hydraulic Engineer with extensive experience in academia and engineering. They have served as an Associate Professor at Eindhoven University of Technology since 1997 and are currently involved as a part-time professor at Jiangsu University's National Pump Research Center in China. Bart held roles as an Associate Editor for various ASME journals until 2022 and is an active member of the CEN committee on fish monitoring. With a PhD in Mechanical Engineering from Twente University, they also contribute to standardization efforts as an author of the Dutch NEN standard on fish safety in pump and hydropower stations.
