Faas Moonen is an Associate Professor in Innovative Structural Design at Eindhoven University of Technology, where they have worked since 2001. They previously served as an Assistant Professor in Timber Structures at the same institution from 1992 to 2001 and were the Director of Education for the Department of the Built Environment from 2006 to 2013. Additionally, Faas has been a faculty coach at Bouwkundewinkel Eindhoven since 2001. They earned a PhD in Structural Design from Technische Universiteit Eindhoven between 1997 and 2001 and worked as a structural designer at Philips - AIB from 1984 to 1992.
