Kees Goossens

Kees Goossens is a Full Professor at Eindhoven University of Technology, having previously served as a Senior Principal Research Scientist at NXP Semiconductors from 1995 to 2009. They have led significant research initiatives, including the development of one of the first real-time networks on chip, Aethereal, and have focused on various aspects of real-time and mixed-criticality embedded systems. Kees has held academic roles at institutions such as Delft University of Technology and the University of Edinburgh, and has contributed to advancements in hardware architectures, middleware for resource management, and functional safety, particularly in automotive applications.
