Luc Florack

Luc Florack is a Professor at Eindhoven University of Technology, where they lead the Applied Differential Geometry group within the Department of Mathematics & Computer Science and are a member of the Data Science Center Eindhoven. Their research centers on the mathematical representation and analysis of complex biomedical images, particularly using advanced differential-geometric methodologies for applications in neurosurgery and cardiology. Previously, Luc held assistant and associate professor positions at various institutions, including Eindhoven University of Technology and Utrecht University, and has contributed to research at several prestigious European research centers. Luc earned both an MSc and a PhD in Theoretical Physics and Medical Image Analysis from Utrecht University.
