Patrick Anderson

Patrick Anderson is the Dean of the Department of Mechanical Engineering at Eindhoven University of Technology and a Full Professor specializing in polymer technology. They lead research in polymer mixing, focusing on the development of computational methods and experimental frameworks that advance understanding of complex fluid behavior and materials processing. Anderson has held executive roles in international rheology and polymer processing societies, delivered over 50 keynote lectures, and received significant research funding totaling €13.6 million. Additionally, they have supervised over 50 PhD students, many of whom have pursued academic careers. Anderson's notable education includes a PhD in Computational Analysis of Distributive Mixing from Eindhoven University of Technology.
