Paul Boon

Paul Boon is a seasoned neurologist, neuroscientist, and epileptologist currently serving as a Senior Full Professor at Ghent University Hospital and as a Professor of Neuromodulation at Eindhoven University of Technology. With extensive governance experience and a strong focus on brain health advocacy, they have held leadership roles, including President of the European Academy of Neurology and Chairperson of the Brain Health Mission. Paul holds multiple degrees, including an MD from Ghent University and a PhD in Neurophysiology, Imaging & Epileptology, and has established a robust background in clinical and experimental brain research, medical consultancy, and education. They have also directed 4Brain and advised Kempenhaeghe in research and development.
