Allister Loder is currently a Professor at Technische Universität München and has been involved with MCube - Munich Cluster for the future of Mobility in Metropolitan Regions as a Projektmitarbeiter since October 2021. From May 2022 to December 2023, Loder served as Projektleiter at Mobilität.Leben, and was previously a Wissenschaftlicher Mitarbeiter (Postdoktorand) at TUM - Lehrstuhl für Verkehrstechnik until October 2023. Loder has also worked as a Berater for SBB CFF FFS and as a Wissenschaftlicher Mitarbeiter at ETH Zürich from July 2015 to March 2020. Earlier career experiences include roles in strategy infrastructure and energy at Deutsche Bahn and advanced building technologies at Drees & Sommer. Loder holds a Doctor of Science in Transportation Sciences from ETH Zürich, alongside a Master of Science in Energy Science and Technology and a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering - Mechatronics. Loder specializes in traffic simulation and mobility data for traffic planning, with a focus on rail access, future mobility, and energy demand at train stations.
