Iris Figliolia currently serves as the Regional Manager Europe and EuroTech Liaison Officer at the Technical University of Munich since September 2025. Prior to this role, Iris worked as the EU Government Affairs Officer at newcleo from February 2023 to October 2025 and served as a Leadership Development Fellow at The Global Partnership for Civic Engagement from September 2022 to March 2023, where research on systemic issues was conducted. Iris's experience also includes a position as a Research and Policy Analyst at OECD - OCDE from January 2022 to June 2022, focusing on digitalization in higher education and investment plans for digital infrastructure. Earlier experience includes working as a Project Assistant at European Solidarity Corps for Youth from September 2019 to April 2020. Iris holds a Master of Arts in International Security from the University of Groningen, a Pre-Master in International Relations and Affairs from the same institution, and a Bachelor of Arts in Interlinguistic Communication from Università degli Studi di Trieste, along with a Bachelor of Arts in Deutsche-Italienische Studien from the University of Regensburg.
