Jan Böttcher

Jan B. is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in both military and technical fields. Currently serving in the United States Air Force since April 2013 as a Pilot, Commissioned Officer, and Airborne Systems Engineer, Jan B. specializes as the sole systems expert on a multi-billion dollar intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance aircraft, executing critical systems troubleshooting under tight deadlines in support of national security missions. Previously, Jan B. worked as a Lighting Technician for Royal Caribbean from November 2009 to March 2011, responsible for operating, maintaining, and troubleshooting lighting and special effects equipment across five venues while effectively communicating within a diverse multicultural environment. Jan B. holds an MBA/MS in Information Systems from the University of Utah (2020-2023) and a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Technical Theatre/Theatre Design and Technology from Texas State University (2006-2008).
