Jia Chen

Jia Chen is a Professor at the Technical University of Munich, leading the Environmental Sensing and Modeling Group, and serves as an Associate in the Department of Earth and Planetary Sciences at Harvard University. Jia's academic journey includes earning a Dr.-Ing. in Electrical Engineering and Information Technology from Technische Universität München, where they graduated summa cum laude, as well as being a Postdoctoral Fellow at Harvard University focusing on environmental science and engineering. Previously, Jia contributed to research at both the Technical University of Munich and Siemens, and their work has centered on climate change and urban air quality, including a significant role in NASA and NSF projects.
