Matthew The is a skilled bioinformatician with extensive research and development experience in the field. Currently serving as Group Leader and Postdoctoral Researcher at Technical University Munich since August 2019, Matthew specializes in creating machine learning tools for the analysis of proteomics and phosphoproteomics data. Prior experience includes a PhD in Bioinformatics at Science for Life Laboratory, where Matthew contributed to the open-source project Percolator. Matthew has also worked as a freelance web developer for JRMiP and held the role of Treasurer at DSTV Obvius, managing an association of approximately 300 members. Additionally, Matthew has web development experience from CLMS B.V. Matthew holds two Master's degrees in Computational and Applied Mathematics from KTH Royal Institute of Technology and Technische Universität Berlin, alongside a Bachelor's degree in Physics from Leiden University and another Bachelor's in Applied Mathematics from Delft University of Technology.
