Michael Witting is a highly experienced professional in the fields of metabolomics and proteomics. Currently serving as a Privatdozent at TUM since June 2024, Michael has been with Helmholtz Munich since May 2013, where the roles include Deputy Head of the Metabolomics and Proteomics Core and Executive Manager of Metabolomics, along with a position as Scientist. Additionally, Michael has worked as a Freelance Lecturer at Dr. Bichlmeier Beratung und Seminare from January 2016 and was a Habilitand at Technische Universität München from November 2015 to December 2023. Michael holds a Dr. rer. nat. degree in Chemistry from the Technical University of Munich, earned between 2009 and 2013, and a Diplom-Ingenieurin (Dipl.Ing.) degree in Applied Chemistry from Technische Hochschule Nürnberg Georg Simon Ohm, completed from 2004 to 2009.
