Mohammad Hamad

Mohammad Hamad started their work experience in 2011 as a Software Engineer at Fluid Dynamix, where they worked until 2013. In 2014, they joined TU Braunschweig as a Research Assistant, where they focused on securing intra-vehicle systems through threat modeling, developing a distributed policy enforcement module, and creating an intrusion prediction and detection system. Mohammad worked in this role until 2020. Currently, they are serving as the Research Group Lead at the Technical University of Munich starting from April 2020. Overall, Mohammad has a diverse background ranging from software engineering to research in the field of securing vehicular systems.

Mohammad Hamad attended Aleppo University from 2004 to 2009, where they earned a Bachelor of Informatics Engineering in Software Engineering and Data Analysis. From 2014 to 2020, they studied at Technische Universität Braunschweig and obtained a Doktoringenieur (Dr.-ing.) degree in Automotive Security.
