Peter Schüffler is an Assistant Professor at TUM since January 2021, previously holding roles as Co-Founder and Senior AI Scientist at Paige from January 2018 to January 2021, and as a Computational Pathologist and Senior Machine Learning Scientist at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center from September 2015 to January 2021. At MSKCC, Peter established the Computational Pathology group focused on automating data acquisition and machine learning for digital pathology. Earlier experience includes research positions at ETH Zurich and Nexus Personalized Health Technologies, where Peter contributed to projects involving automatic staining estimation and statistical data analysis in medical research. Peter holds a PhD in Mathematics and Computer Science from ETH Zurich and a Master's degree in Bioinformatics from Universität des Saarlandes.
