Sandra Hirsch

Sandra Hirsch is an accomplished professional in the field of design and education, currently working at Technische Universität München in the Center for Study and Teaching Qualitätsmanagement Studium und Lehre since September 2020, where responsibilities include promoting innovative transdisciplinary teaching methods and overseeing accreditation processes for study programs. Previously, Sandra served as a Senior Design Researcher and Postdoc at the Chair of Industrial Design from April 2007 to September 2020, focusing on fundraising, research development, and lecturing on design methodologies, alongside mentoring students. Sandra also gained valuable experience as an Independent Design Professional from December 2002 to February 2009, specializing in corporate and interior design, as well as the design of spectacle frames and veterinary products. Academic qualifications include a Dr.-Ing. in Industrial Design from the Technical University of Munich and a Diplom Designerin in Product and Process Design from Universität der Künste Berlin.
