Amanda Rhodes has a diverse work experience in the entertainment industry. In 2017, they worked as a Sundance Festival Intern for The Blackhouse Foundation, gaining valuable experience in film festivals. Amanda then joined Macro Ventures as a Development Intern, where they provided script coverage, created pitch decks, arranged travel, conducted research, and delivered industry news updates. In 2018, Amanda interned at the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences as an Academy Gold Intern. Later that year, they became an Assistant to the Global Head of UTA IQ at United Talent Agency, supporting the team and assisting with research reports for actors and other talent. Amanda also implemented a reward program for commuting stipends. Amanda went on to become an Executive Assistant to the Vice President at The Walt Disney Studios, managing multiple offices, handling HBCU outreach, and coordinating registrations and data collection for Marvel research screenings. Their most recent role was as an Executive Coordinator to the CEO at Laugh Out Loud Network, where they managed the CEO's office, developed the Greenlight the Culture program, provided script coverage, and sourced and assessed submissions for project development. Currently, Amanda works as a Content Curator at Tubi.

Amanda Rhodes holds a Master of Fine Arts - MFA degree in Film/Cinema/Video Studies from Howard University. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor of Arts - BA degree in Theatre/Theater from The George Washington University. In addition, they have obtained certifications in CPR/First-Aid and holds a Notary Public Commission from the State of Maryland.
