Jacob Leon

Jacob Leon has a diverse range of work experience in the field of data engineering and analytics.

Jacob'smost recent role was as a Senior Data Engineer at Tubi, where they started in February 2021. Prior to that, they worked at the U.S. Soccer Federation from December 2017 to February 2021. Here, they served as a Technical Architect and Lead Data Engineer, leading projects such as the Digital Coaching Center and Ticketmaster Project.

Before joining the U.S. Soccer Federation, Jacob worked at Slalom from November 2014 to December 2017 as a Consultant. During their time here, they worked on various projects, including modernizing reporting solutions for Gogo using AWS, and designing prototypes for the Provider subject area of a healthcare company.

Prior to Slalom, Jacob was a Senior Consultant at Analytics8 from May 2013 to October 2014. Jacob worked on projects such as modifying a data warehouse for an association to measure organizational memberships, implementing dashboards for sales insight in Western Europe, and developing solutions for a top pharmaceutical company to analyze executive movements.

Jacob's early work experience includes roles at USG as a System Designer from March 2010 to March 2012, Programmer Analyst II from October 2008 to March 2010, Programmer Analyst I from October 2007 to September 2008, and Programmer I and Programmer II from June 2005 to September 2007.

Jacob began their career as a Programmer Analyst at U.S. Cellular from June 2003 to August 2004, where they developed and supported a billing data collection and mediation system.

Overall, Jacob has demonstrated a strong technical expertise in data engineering and analytics, working on projects for various industries and organizations throughout their career.

Jacob Leon attended the University of Wisconsin-Madison from 1998 to 2003, where they earned a Bachelor's degree in Information Systems. In addition to their degree, they obtained several certifications throughout their career. These certifications include Oracle Certified Associate, Java SE 8 Programmer from Oracle in July 2017, Qlikview 11 Certified Designer & Developer from Qlik in May 2013, Amazon Web Services Solutions Architect Associate from Amazon Web Services (AWS) in June 2017, and AWS Certified Developer – Associate from Amazon Web Services (AWS) in July 2017.
