Jason Hsu

Jason Hsu has a diverse work experience. Jason started their career as a Course Grader at UC San Diego, where they graded homework, analyzed students' errors, and counseled students. Jason then worked as a Teacher/Tutor at Escondido Union School District, preparing students for their GED tests and creating curriculum to help them with math problems. At Anchor General Insurance Agency, they worked as a Data Analyst, aggregating data from multiple programs and states, improving the loss triangle development process, and presenting reports with improvement recommendations. Afterwards, they joined Green Dot Corporation as a Business Analyst/Sr. Business Analyst, monitoring financial transactions, analyzing sales, and evaluating promotional campaigns. Jason then worked as an Independent Consultant at Tridea Partners before joining Jam City as a Data Analyst, analyzing match 3 games and planning AB tests. Jason also worked as an Android App Developer at SuiRoc LLC, developing Android applications for Google Play. Most recently, they worked as a Sr. Product Analyst/Sr. Data Manager at Wag Labs Inc., using Periscope, Tableau, and Amazon Redshift to analyze new product features and collaborate with the Finance Team on forecasting and planning AB tests. Jason is currently working as a Sr. Business Analyst at Tubi.

Jason Hsu completed their Bachelor of Arts in Applied Mathematics from UC San Diego between 2007 and 2009. Following that, they pursued a Master of Science degree in Mathematical Finance from the Questrom School of Business at Boston University, which they completed from 2010 to 2012.
