Michael Ellenburg

Michael Ellenburg is currently working as a Senior Engineer in Platform and Infrastructure at Tubi. Michael started this role in December 2021. Prior to this, they worked as a Senior Platform Engineer at BlueOwl, LLC from April 2018 to December 2021. Before that, they were a Senior Software Engineer at Mesosphere, Inc. from October 2015 to April 2018. Michael also has experience as a Software Engineer at Newfield Wireless from July 2013 to October 2015. Michael worked on solution engineering and developed tools for automation and monitoring of data centers. Michael also interned at the Max Planck Institute for Physics as a Summer Intern in 2012, where they analyzed test beam data for semiconductor pixel detectors. Furthermore, Michael has work experience as an Intern at Berkeley Lab and as an Undergraduate Student Instructor at UCB Astronomy Department. Michael has also served as a Resident Assistant at Unit 2 Residence Hall, where they were responsible for community development, and as a Barista at Starbucks, where they provided customer service and prepared food and drink items.

From 2008 to 2012, Michael Ellenburg attended the University of California, Berkeley, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree. During their time there, they focused their studies on Physics and Astrophysics.
