Sagar L.

Sagar L. has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries and roles. Sagar is currently the Head of AI/ML Product Management at Tubi, where they oversee the development of ML products such as the AVOD Recommendations System and TV Channel Recommendations. Prior to this, Sagar worked at Capital One as a Product Lead, where they managed the development of personalization AI/ML products that contributed $200 million in revenue. Sagar also led the evolution of the ML development platform and implemented banking cloud data security requirements. Before Capital One, Sagar was a Product Manager and Senior Data Scientist at Vrbo, where they achieved significant revenue impacts through AB testing and led programs to improve the user experience. Additionally, Sagar gained experience as a Data Engineer intern at Azumo, LLC and as a Student Researcher in Data Science at SparkCognition. Sagar also served as a Teaching Assistant at the McCombs School of Business at The University of Texas at Austin and worked as a Project Manager at Zuari Agro Chemicals Ltd.

Sagar L. obtained a Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Goa Engineering College - Government of Goa. Sagar attended this institution from 2007 to 2011. Furthermore, Sagar pursued a Master of Science in Engineering (M.S.E.) degree in Operations Research and Industrial Engineering (ORIE) at The University of Texas at Austin from 2014 to 2016. In addition to their formal education, they also obtained a certification for "Scalable Machine Learning" from edX in July 2015.
