Tom de Wit

Tom de Wit is a museum and heritage professional with extensive experience in managing varied collections and historic buildings, including notable sites like Knole and Brighton Pavilion. They served as Curator for Hampshire County Council Museums Service from 2007 to 2014, and held positions as Security & Support Services Manager for Brighton & Hove City Council and Exhibition Officer at Hackney Museum. Currently, Tom manages the Tolpuddle Martyrs' Museum for TUC, emphasizing the history of trade unionism. They also share their passion for historic and classic cars through their blog and YouTube channel, "Junkyard Tom." Tom holds a Master’s Degree in Museum and Gallery Management from City University London.
